Only Fools Complain
Chapter Nineteen
Back with My Wives

Both my wives were using pins to hold sections of cloth together that I could recognize as being a future dress. They both smiled and spoke pleasant words at seeing me. Honestly, I could not help but show pleasure in seeing them. I however stood in the doorway while letting it be known that I had not yet finished my business.

“Aden. Honestly, I need Tamesa, but she is your property, so come.”

My mature wife replied, “She is our property, my lord.”

Chapter Eighteen
Back Underground

I really did not learn anything new about women, but I let my wives know that just because they could not share my bed that I would not ignore them. I hugged and kissed Mersidda as much as possible. The smile on her face said that she appreciated what I did, but she never said anything about challenging Aden concerning certain activities. All that my young wife would say was that she looked forward to her time of having me all to herself.

Holes in the Outline

I found Mersidda cheerfully chatting with some soldiers. She was properly seated, and they were at a respectful distance, so I actually found myself glad that she was not bored. A few soldiers turned as I came up the levee. Mersidda looked to see what had caused their reaction, then cheerfully sounded my name as she rushed upon me.

After trading some affection with my little wife, I located an officer and asked, “Any trouble with oozes?”

An Interesting Surprise

I warned the soldiers on duty what I planned on doing. They spoke of others attempting it with everyone turning and walking away disappointed. I mentioned the psychic vision I saw when I contacted the shell down in the barracks. The soldiers agreed that the others that attempted what I would be doing all claimed that the problem was hopeless.

Chapter Fifteen
Time with Mersidda

Mersidda and I again spent some time together that night. I was actually expecting a conversation. From stories I had heard about women, and listening to my sisters talk, there was a line of thought that I somehow knew would erupt. It came after sharing some kissing and petting by the glow of the shell. As we spoke of needing to return to bed, Mersidda asked the question I expected.

“Berair, which of us will you favor should we both ask something of you.”

Chapter Thirteen
Evidence and Danger

One ooze had been dangerous, so I really feared having to battle a number of them. Unlike the tentacle faces, oozes could flow around and over each other, so a multitude could actually work to contact their victim. I had a duty however, and set myself to facing those monsters I had summoned. Not wanting to leave the soldiers with more problems that they had originally, I faced my fear and prepared for battle.

Chapter Eleven
Back to Work

Satisfying two ladies was rather draining, but double the thanks more than made up for the effort. After doing my best for the ladies, Aden again went on to sleep. When I got up, Mersidda again followed me. We ended up sitting in a chair with me fondling her chest while speaking of our homes. It caught both of us by surprise to have Tamesa ask us if we wanted anything.

My little wife turned on my body to say, “Tamesa, we’re naked.”

Chapter Ten
My World Expands

It seems that the baron was keeping more from Aden than just a slave. When we entered the apartment, a number of boxes were set against the wall. What surprised me was that Aden did not go searching through them. She merely opened them, verified the contents were familiar to her, then closed each back.

“My lord, I am sorry to say that our return might not be as simple as a magic spell.”
